Panhandle Station

The University of Nebraska Panhandle Research and Extension Center, locally known as Panhandle Station or PREC, is an invaluable resource for the panhandle, and not just for farm folk.  There are actually four such centers in the state, and extension offices in every county, that offer research-based information in family, agriculture, lawn and garden, nutrition/health/safety, community, 4-H/youth programs, and natural resources to all Nebraskans.  Among the many services they provide are web publications on dry edible beans as well as hundreds of other topics.  Just type the subject that interests you in the "search" box.

The Experts
The Nebraska Dry Bean Growers Association works closely with many of the Panhandle Station
specialists; we are proud to be associated with them and we are grateful for their knowledge, expertise, and support.
