Panhandle Station
The University of Nebraska Panhandle Research and Extension Center (the local center is known as Panhandle Station) is an invaluable resource for the panhandle, and not just for farm folk. There are actually four such centers in the state, and extension offices in every county, that offer research-based information in family, agriculture, lawn and garden, nutrition/health/safety, community, 4-H/youth programs, and natural resources to all Nebraskans.
